1948 Triumph Tiger 100

1948 Triumph T100 - This motorcycle has been sold.

Guaranteed to reach 100mph, the Triumph Tiger 100 was a true ride-to-work, race ready performer capable of giving the best of the competition a run for its money — and ridden by more than a handful of policemen. Our 1948 example was the first year for one very significant and fairly radical option, the introduction of the sprung hub, which offered a couple of inches of rear suspension movement.

An exceptional example of Edward Turner’s game changing masterpiece, serial #96926 most recently attended the Quail Ride at the 2011 Quail Motorcycle Gathering, and won a 1st Place award at Bikes on the Bay in Capitola, California.
